A new economy is rising in Cuba, built by hand, against real scarcity, with a stubborn kind of hope.
Cuba is changing the way the sea changes a stone, patiently and from within, one person and one business at a time. In a doorway in Centro Habana, a kitchen becomes a restaurant. A spare room becomes a workshop. A young woman keeps the books for the family business by candlelight. None of this arrives by decree. We started Mi Habana es así because that work deserves to be seen clearly, taken seriously, and given a guide worthy of the effort behind it.
We exist to walk beside the Cuban people, all the way to the Cuba that is coming.
Not above them, not ahead of them, beside them, in the daylight work of it. Where there is change, we want there to be opportunity a real person can reach. Where there is effort, we want there to be a clear and honest guide, so no one has to build blind.
And we open doors. To capital, to partners, to ideas that travel, the things a good business needs and a hard place rarely offers. We do the patient work behind each one and hold it to its word, because a door is only worth opening if you can trust what waits on the other side. That trust is the whole point. It is what we are building, alongside the people building everything else.
We tell the truth about Cuba as it is today, current and unflinching, because hope that cannot survive the facts was never hope at all.
Every door we open is verified and screened before it reaches you, so that a hand extended in trust is never met with harm.
We answer to no government and carry no agenda, only to the Cuban people and the work they are doing for themselves.
We make this serious and we make it beautiful, because Cuban work, given everything it costs, deserves nothing less than our best.
For everyone who believes a better Cuba is not a wish, but a thing being built right now.
This is for the Cubans on the island building something from almost nothing, who turn scarcity into invention every single day. It is for the diaspora who carried the island in them across every sea and never once stopped believing, who send home more than money because home never left them. And it is for the investors and partners with the clarity to see what is coming, and the patience to help it arrive.
We are not waiting for the Cuba that is coming. We are helping lay it down, opportunity by opportunity, the way you lay stone along the Malecón, knowing exactly where it leads.
Cuba was never short of talent, only of doors.
We are honored to stand with the people opening them. Come and see what is rising.
